Meet the Doctor

Dr. Frisch is a graduate of Bastyr University, a 5-year accredited Naturopathic Medical institution, and the nation’s leader in scientific-based natural medical schools. She has worked with some of the top naturopaths in the Seattle area, and does much of her continuing education at the Children's Hospital in Seatttle.

In addition to Naturopathic studies, Dr. Frisch completed 3 years of homeopathic training with Dr. Paul Herscu and Dr. Amy Rothenberg of the New England School of Homeopathy.

Her undergraduate training was at the University of Minnesota where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. There, she spent a year studying communication between medical doctors and patients and wrote
, “The Practice of Family Medicine from a Cultural Perspective: A Look at Communication between Health Care Providers and Patient Populations.”

Between her undergraduate and graduate work she worked in patient care for women’s health clinics, community health clinics for homeless youth, and a private urology practice. She also spent 6 years as a bakery owner of a whole-grain, organic bakery in Seattle.
While in transition from Naturopathic school to her practice, Dr. Frisch worked with Homeopathic teachers and students throughout North America with Whole Health Now.

Dr. Frisch moved to Olympia in the Summer of 2008, after living in the Seattle area for 15 years. Before opening her practice in Olympia, she practiced in Edmonds, WA. She lives in Northeast Olympia with her husband and two young children.
